We have another Husky litter due in October, so we'll be announcing the take-home dates soon!
Wylde Hunt is dedicated to raising top quality Maine Coon Cats. Although our cattery is fairly new, Tara has been raising and showing Maine Coon Cats for nearly 20 years! Starting with her parents cattery One Cat Maine Coon, back in 2004.
We keep our numbers small and our cats live as pets in our home. Not in cages. As such, we are that much more selective in what it takes to be included in our breeding program. All of our cats have been fully genetic health tested for HCM, PKD, and SMA. We breed to standard and are registered with ACFA.
The Maine Coon Cat is the native American long-haired cat and originated in the state of Maine. They are large, "rugged" cats that were known to be excellent mousers. They are known for their friendliness and have been dubbed the "Gentle Giant" of the cat fancy. Fun Fact: it was a Maine Coon Cat that was chosen as "Best Cat" at the first major US Cat Show in 1895.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
It is at our discretion, but no earlier than 12 weeks.
The price of our kittens is based upon the individuals type and bloodlines. Please contact us for exact pricing on a kitten.
Part of why so many people love this breed, is that they are big cats! But this is something that is hard to estimate as young kittens. Typically females are around 10-15 lbs at maturity. Males 15-20+, keeping in mind that they are not mature until 3-5 years old.
Our babies are adopted quickly, so reach out to reserve your furever friend or to ask any further questions.
